Tyres on the Drive Receives £340K in Funding

Tyres on the Drive, a Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, UK-based tyre-fitting service which allows customers to book online and have their tyres fitted on their own driveway, has received £340k from the North West Fund for Venture Capital, managed by EV.

The company intends to use the funding to expand into new geographic markets.

Established in May 2011 by Dominic Clark, a former senior manager with Michelin, the service allows customers to enter their car registration number into the website and book a convenient time, before a mechanic comes out to fit the tyres on the driveway. The company, which already trades across Cheshire, Wirral and Greater Manchester, now has agreements in place with all the major tyre suppliers.
