London, NYC, and Toronto based private investment firm Searchlight Capital Partners has closed its first fund at over $860m.
Searchlight Capital L.P. invests in both equity and debt and works in partnership with company management by providing long-term capital as well as strategic and operational support to enhance value creation for all stakeholders. The firm’s investment capabilities extend across a wide range of industry and geographic areas, with a particular strength in investing in complex situations.
Founded in 2010 by Erol Uzumeri, Oliver Haarmann and Eric Zinterhofer, the firm invests in both equity and debt and completed its first investment earlier this year when it acquired a controlling stake in Hunter Boot Ltd.
