Get Me Listed, a Montreal, Canada-based local search analytics platform, has raised seed financing.
The round was led by Mark Macleod, General partner of Real Ventures, with participation from internet entrepreneurs Yona Shtern and Robert Gold of Beyond the Rack, as well as Sterost Holdings, the angel investment arm of 2 prominent Montreal-based entrepreneurs.
The company intends to use the funding to scale its infrastructure and optimize the user experience.
Founded in by CEO Michael Mire, Ravdeep Sawhney, and Mohannad El-Barachi in late 2010, Get Me Listed allows marketing professionals to manage multiple local search marketing campaigns — all from one central dashboard, and improve local search visibility across top search engines, social networks, mobile apps, etc.
