Groupon (Nasdaq: GRPN) has acquired New York-based Ditto.me, a mobile app that makes it simple for users to discover new things to do.
Started a year ago, Ditto let users exchange recommendations about restaurants, movies, and other activities.
The company has not revealed what they’ll be working on at Groupon but they will be stop developing Ditto. On April 30th the service will be switched off and the app will be removed from Apple’s and Nokia’s stores.
