BrightTag, a Chicago, IL-based technology platform provider for the digital marketing industry, has closed $15m in new financing.
The round was led by Baird Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors New World Ventures, TomorrowVentures, EPIC Ventures, I2A and Silicon Valley Bank.
The company intends to use the financing to accelerate development of its technology platform and expand its sales efforts in the US and overseas.
Led by CEO Mike Sands, BrightTag offers an integration platform (The BrightTag ONE™) that helps marketers and web analysts make online data instantly useful in web or mobile applications, solving fundamental privacy, data quality and site performance challenges.
Customers include 1-800-Flowers.com, JetBlue Airways, Grainger and Chegg among others.
In conjunction with the funding, Benedict Rocchio, Partner at Baird Venture Partners, will join the company’s Board of Directors.
