Bizo, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of business audience marketing solutions, has closed a $10m Series B equity financing.
The round was led by Crosslink Capital, with participation from existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners and Venrock.
The company intends to use the funding to further expand its sales and marketing efforts and continue to extend its platform.
By leveraging proprietary demographic data, Bizo gives marketers access to business professionals. Its marketing platform targets more than 100 million professionals around the world, including more than 80% of the U.S. business population. Customers include more than 400 brands including AMEX, Mercedes Benz, Monster, Salesforce.com, Porsche, Microsoft, AT&T and UPS.
The company was founded in 2008 by CEO Russell Glass and Yonatan Stern
In conjunction with the funding, Crosslink Capital’s David Silverman will join Bizo’s board of directors.
