Alt12 Apps, a San Francisco, California-based publisher of social health apps, has closed its $1.26m seed funding round.
The round was led by Aydin Senkut‘s Felicis Ventures, with participation from InterWest Partners and other individual angels, including HealthTap founder Ron Gutman.
The company intends to use the funding to develop its just launched Kidfolio, a social network and digital scrapbook for parents.
Kidfolio connects parents with a network of other parents to exchange information, advice and support, gives them daily and weekly information on what to expect, and enables them to capture photos and videos of milestones.
The app is now available for iPhone and will launch soon on Android and the Web.
Launched in 2009 with BabyBump, a pregnancy social network app, the company is led by CEO Jennifer Wong.
