New Wind, LLC, a Nashville, TN-based small-wind vertical-axis wind turbine (VAWT) company, raised more than $1m in a second round of venture capital.
The backers were not disclosed.
Led by President Stuart Wiston, New Wind is a distributor of small-wind vertical-axis wind turbines and other sustainable energy products.
The company intends to use the proceeds from the financing to expand its product line after much research and development on practical, affordable, sustainable energy products.
New Wind also has an office located in San Diego, California.
