Tracelytics, a Providence, RI- and Boston, MA-based developer of cloud application performance management software, has raised $5.2m in Series A financing.
The round was ld by Bain Capital Ventures, with participation from existing investors Google Ventures, Battery Ventures and Flybridge Capital Partners.
The company intends to use the funding to continue to improve its application performance management (APM) offering, as well as scale the sales and marketing functions. Tracelytics is opening a second office in Boston, MA, where it is agressively hiring.
Founded in 2010 and led by CEO John Vigeant and CTO Spiros Eliopoulos, Tracelytics provides customers with a software as a service solution designed to offer insights into the performance of their web applications, revealing issues, bottlenecks and potential improvements.
