Detroit-based Private equity firm Superior Capital Partners has acquired Delta Technologies for an undisclosed sum.
The deal is an add-on for Superior’s portfolio company Nelson-Miller, a Los Angeles-based company that designs, manufactures and sources customized membrane switches, graphic overlays, nameplates, rubber keypads, touchscreens and other user-interface and product identification solutions. The products are typically used by original equipment manufacturers primarily in the healthcare, industrial, aerospace and consumer industries.
Located in Chicago, IL, Delta Technologies brings to Nelson-Miller complementary product lines and a diverse customer base.
Nelson-Miller is led by CEO David Bland. Commenting on the acquisitions, he said: “The transaction creates a larger, more diverse player in the industry and brings Nelson-Miller’s sales, engineering and manufacturing resources to Delta’s impressive customer list in the medical, communications, consumer and industrial industries”.
