ShoutOmatic Closes Six-Figure Funding

According to reports, ShoutOmatic, a Westbury, NY-based social media website, has closed a “six-figure” funding with members of the Long Island Angel Network.

Created in September 2010 by Norm Levy (http://normlevy.wordpress.com/), Michael Levy, Jim Robert, and Bob Schuon, ShoutOmatic allows users to record and broadcast up to 30 seconds of audible status updates (called “shouts”), directly to the company’s website, as well as to the users’ profiles on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook.
