Pocket Media Group, a Stockholm, Sweden-based quality content driven media company, has received funding from Almi Invest.
Almi has invested in the company along with with business angels and the owners. The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Founded by CEO Håkan Lindhé, and Felix Herngren, Pocket Media is creating a new viral channel for production, distribution, financing and viewing of video content via mobile devices. It secures content in cooperation with creators (filmakers, established creatives and actors, new talent), offers streamlined production and distribution processes and share generated ad revenues.
