Kinnser Software, an Austin, Texas-based provider of an online home health software solution, has secured $40m in Series A financing from Insight Venture Partners.
The company intends to use the funding to to expand its software and organizational development efforts as well as to accelerate the national rollout of its sales and marketing campaign.
Founded in 2003 and led by President Christopher Hester, Kinnser provides point of care, billing and administration services to more than 55,000 users working in more than 900 home health agencies and therapy providers nationwide.
In conjunction with the funding, Richard Wells and Peter Sobiloff, Managing Directors at Insight Venture Partners, will join the company’s board of directors.
