Campus Shift Receives $25K from Innovation Fund

Campus Shift, an Akron, OH-based company that operates a website and cell phone applications that connect students with their campuses to search and save on textbooks, has received $25k from the Innovation Fund.

Free for students, Campus Shift’s website and cell phone applications help students buy and sell their textbook for the best price through its search engine or use it to find the textbook they need from a current student on campus. It also allows students to stay informed of campus events. On the other hand, local businesses can network with students to keep them updated on events and discounts in their communities.

Founded by the Lorain County Community College Foundation in 2007, the Innovation Fund is a regional fund focused on supporting technology-based entrepreneurial endeavors and emerging technology-based businesses.
