Brazen Careerist Raises $100K Investment from CIT GAP Funds

Brazen Careerist, a McLean, Va.-based online career resource, has received a $100k investment from the Center for Innovative Technology (CIT) GAP Funds (http://www.citgapfunds.org).

The company intends to use the funding for technology development.

Led by President and CEO Ed Barrientos and COO Ryan Healy, Brazen Careerist combines virtual recruiting events with online education and training to young professionals.
Its virtual event platform allows employers to host virtual career fairs and open houses online and job seekers to attend virtual recruiting events from their homes or offices and engage directly with recruiters, and hiring managers.
