StopTheHacker Raises $1.1M in Funding

StopTheHacker, a San Francisco, CA-based SaaS website security services provider, has raised $1.1M in initial funding.

Backers include Runa Capital and Brian NeSmith, former CEO of Bluecoat.

The company intends to use the funding to increase its marketing and sales efforts, adding new commercial partners worldwide and develop its product offerings.

Led by CEO Peter Jensen, StopTheHacker StopTheHacker is a highly focused website security service company that provides SaaS services to web hosters, website owners, administrators and web designers to help them protect, detect and recover from malware attacks. Its proprietary, patent-pending technology helps solve web-scale security problems involving malware and other emerging threats on websites and other types of online abuse.
The company’s suite of services includes Website Health Monitoring, Vulnerability Assessment, Blacklist Monitoring and Reputation Monitoring.
