Mosoro Closes $1.5M Series A Financing

Mosoro, a Golden, Colorado-based company that creates Bluetooth (Bluetooth LE) accessory solutions (called appcessories) for smartphones, closed a $1.5m Series A financing.

The round was led by Internet entrepreneurs and co-founders of ServiceMagic.com, Mike Beaudoin and Rodney Rice as well as Boulder venture capital firms High Country Venture and Tango.

The company intends to use the new capital to accelerate development and growth of their “appcessory” products into multiple verticals.

In conjunction with this funding, Mike Beaudoin, Rodney Rice, and Chris Marks joined Mosoro’s Board of Directors.

Co-founded by CEO Mike Stemple and CTO Chris Stemple, the company designs Bluetooth hardware and corresponding smartphone apps in-house, and partners with consumer brands to take the products to market through its distribution and sales partners.
