July Systems, a New York, Los Angeles, and Bangalore-based provider of a cloud mobile application platform, has closed a $15m equity funding.
The round was led by Updata Partners, with participation from Intel Capital and WestBridge Capital .
The company intends to use the capital to accelerate the product roadmap, and boost sales and increase market awareness at a global level.
Led by CEO Rajesh T.S. Reddy, July Systems provides technical business users, marketers, creative teams and developer organizations with tools to build, manage and update live mobile services in real-time. The company’s technology is used by well-known brands, including ESPN, Toys R Us, Intel, Unilever, CBS, and the NBA, to run world-class mobile applications across the full spectrum of mobile devices and platforms.
