Heverest.ru, a Russian online retailer for sport, leisure and travel goods, has raised an additional $4.3m in funding.
Among others, backers include one of Russia’s largest investment funds and eVenture Capital Partners.
This round brings the total amount raised by the company to $6.7m.
Heverest.ru intends to use the new capital to expand its online product offering, develop the current CRM system, launch a new marketing campaign, which aims to increase brand awareness of Heverest.ru among current and potential clients.
Launched by Fast Lane Ventures and led by CEO Vladimir Kim, Heverest.ru currently has an online collection of more than 6,000 items from 150 major International sport and leisure brands including Salomon, Nike, Columbia, Adidas, Reebok, Puma, Speedo and others, with the product range being renewed on a regular basis.
The website has an average of 600,000 visitors per month.
