Gambitious, an Utrecht, The Netherlands equity-based crowdfunding platform dedicated to the video game industry, will launch worldwide in March.
The platform represents a way for both small and large investors to directly invest in promising game projects in exchange for an equity stake, thus having the chance to take part in eventual profits from the venture.
Following the success of and using the same crowdfunding model developed by Symbid, Gambitious allows Indie developers to pitch their ideas and the crowd to invest from € 20 to € 2.5m in each project.
Led by MD Paul Hanraets, the company has already signed with a strong white label partner for the platform and and received projects from various developers.
