Domo Raises $20m from Institutional Venture Partners (IVP) in Series A-1 Funding

Domo, a Lindon, UT-based provider of software-as-a-service (SaaS) business intelligence solutions, has closed $20m from Institutional Venture Partners (IVP) in Series A-1 funding.

IVP joins a list of angels and investors including Benchmark Capital (read here), Andreessen Horowitz, Ron Conway and David Lee of SV Angel, and Hummer Winblad.

Launched by Omniture co-founder Josh James, Domo is a business intelligence software company. Its platform delivers real-time intelligence from all those sources into one browser-based view, accessible across any device, including mobile platforms such as the iPhone, iPad, Blackberry and Android. It connects into any existing system where data lives, including those for customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning, human resources and financials, as well as any data repository or current reporting system.

The company’s founding team consists of professionals with experience in companies including Amazon, American Express, Ancestry.com, eBay, Endeca, Facebook, Google, Linkedin, MLB.com, Omniture, and Salesforce.com, amongst others.
