CrowdStrike Raises $26M in Series A Funding, Launches in Stealth-Mode

CrowdStrike, a Kirkland, WA-based security technology company focused on helping enterprises and governments protect their most sensitive intellectual property and national security information, has launched in stealth-mode with $26m Series A funding.

The round was led by Warburg Pincus.

Co-founded by George Kurtz (CEO) (http://www.georgekurtz.com/), an Executive in Residence at Warburg Pincus, Dmitri Alperovitch (CTO) and Gregg Marston (CFO), CrowdStrike uses Big-Data technologies to develop an innovative approach to help clients not only to identify and remove malicious software from their networks but also identify who is targeting them.
