MedRunner Health Solutions Inc., a Saint John, NB, Canada-based provider of electronic prescription solutions to physicians and pharmacies, received a $250k investment from GrowthWorks Atlantic Venture Fund.
Led by CEO Todd Murphy, MedRunner is a web based electronic prescription platform that allows physicians and pharmacies to send and receive electronic prescriptions and communicate in real-time. Physicians can access MedRunner via the internet using a PC, Blackberry, Ipod, IPad, Playbook or Netbook without fees and hardware to install.
In conjunction with the funding, Peter Clark, Regional Investment Manager of the GrowthWorks Atlantic Venture Fund,has joined the company’s board of directors.
