Sightlines Receives Private Equity Investment from Education Growth Partners

Sightlines LLC, a Guilford, Connecticut-based provider of performance measurement and data benchmarking services to higher education institutions, has received a private equity investment of undisclosed amount from Education Growth Partners.

The investment will be used to expand the company’s services.

Founded in 2000 by CEO David Kadamus, Sightlines develops key metrics and provides analyses across high value “business” areas, such as:
– building asset management,
– maintenance and operations, and
– energy usage.

Sightlines serves colleges and universities in the United States. Working with its members, it independently gathers, validates and trends campus data; benchmarks each member against its peer institutions; and provides strategic insight to optimize campus investments and contribute to the mission and long-term financial health of universities.
The company’s membership base currently includes over 320 campuses in 36 states and the District of Columbia.

In conjunction with the closing of the transaction, Peter Campbell and EdGrowth Operating Partner, Brian Nairn, will join the Sightlines board.
