Life360, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of mobile family safety applications, has closed a $3.5m Series A financing.
Backers include Fontinalis Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners, 500 Startups, Kapor Capital, Venture51, Bullpen Capital, Social Leverage and EchoVC Partners, as well as existing investors.
Led by Chris Hulls, CEO and Co-founder, Life360 provides a mobile application to locate family people, get help in emergencies and group chat within its cross-platform FamilyChannel™. The company also intends to expand beyond mobile phones into other areas of family life such as the car, home, school and office.
