Kamux Oy, a Finnish large car retailer focused exclusively on used cars and related services, has received a private equity investment of undisclosed amount from Intera Partners.
Following the transaction, the management team will maintain a significant minority ownership in the company and will continue to develop the business along with Intera, launching new products and services.
Led by founder and CEO Juha Kalliokoski, Kamux also provides its customers with value-added services, such as car financing, insurance and warranty and delivery directly to customers’ homes. The company has 16 stores across Finland and 52 employees.
In 2011, Kamux is expected to have revenues of over €70m.
