Historic Futures Secures £2.6M in Funding

Historic Futures, a Oxon, UK-based provider of global supply chain traceability solutions, has secured £2.6m in funding.

The company intends to use the capital to roll out String, its supply chain traceability software, in sectors such as textiles and timber.

Backers include Oxford Technology ECF and new investor Bridges Ventures, wich committed £1.6m, and other existing shareholders and a series of new angel investors.

Founded in 2003 and led by Managing Director Tim Wilson, Historic Futures enables businesses to gain visibility into their supply chain, from raw material to finished product. String is used by major brands, retailers and labeling organisations, including M&S, Levi’s, Walmart, MSC and FSC.
