TeamSnap Raises $910K in Funding

TeamSnap, a Boulder, CO-based company that provides an online service that enables sports teams and other groups communicate, manage schedules, share photos, track game statistics, and coordinate refreshments and other activities, has raised close to $910k in new funding (read here).

According to reports, the funding has come from all existing investors, including Denver-based eonBusiness, as well as Trinity Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its marketing and partner development efforts and extend the service to mobile platforms beyond iOS.

Launched in beta in 2007, incorporated in 2010 and led by CEO Dave DuPont, TeamSnap provides recreational and competitive sports teams and groups with an online interface to keep track of Rosters, Schedules, Game and Practice Attendance and Availability, Team Payments, Statistics, etc.
It is currently used by 50,000 teams in more than in 110 countries.
