Stagee.com, a Palo Alto, CA-based social startup that provides a professional platform for entertainers, has raised $330K in seed funding from angel investors.
The company, which just launched its open alpha site, is currently seeking a second round investment.
Founded in early 2011 and led by CEO Lior Maimon and CTO Ofer Zelig, Stagee is an entertainment platform designed to help entertainers reach new audiences and find professional opportunities. On their profiles, users can upload videos, show reels, tracks, photo spreads, and blog posts, manage social tools and build their audience while earning points for views, votes and ratings.
This funding will help the company to continue to development and release new features on the platform.
