Quarri Technologies Raises $3M in Series B Funding

Quarri Technologies (previously known as Quaresso), an Austin, Texas-based provider of on demand web information security solutions, raised $3m in Series B funding.

The round was led by Houston Angel Network (HAN), with participation from Daylight Partners and other Texas angels.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate expansion into North America with its flagship product, Protect On Q, which is designed to enable organizations to secure and control web sessions on demand, providing information protection and data leakage prevention wherever both internal and external are, without deploying client software.

The company recently named Bill Morrow as executive chairman. Stuart Jackson, vice president and head of L.E.K. Consulting’s Chicago office, has been named to Quarri’s board of directors. He has joined:
– Bill Morrow,
– Andrew Clark, Houston Angel Network;
– Thomas Oertli, chairman, Wizlynx Group; and
– Mark Elliott, founder and executive vice president of products, Quarri.
Additionally, Carter McCrary was named executive vice president of business development.
