Network Optix Raises $750K

Network Optix, a Burbank, Calif.-based software and network technology company, completed its convertible debt round, raising $750k.

Network Optix intends to use the funds for expansion of its core platform technology and solution offerings.

The round was led by the company’s founders Nathan Wheeler and Sergey Bystrov, and board director Jor Law, with participation from Veracity, HauteSpot Networks, Kenneth Lu, MD and a group of angel investors.

Led by CEO and Co-founder Nathan Wheeler, Network Optix is introducing a new architecture called EVaaP (Enterprise Video as a Platform), a universal architecture for rapidly deploying any type of video transport, management and display solution within any network or local machine environment.
The company released its first application, the EVE Media Player™, a feature-rich media viewing and management application available in Windows and Mac, in September of 2011.
