Bitzer Mobile, a Sunnyvale, California-based developer of software platform for companies to extend access to enterprise applications and content on mobile devices as native apps, has closed a $4.75m first venture capital financing.
The round was led by Acero Capital, with participation from Chevron Technology Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand customer support and product development teams as well broaden its direct and channel sales team ([email protected]).
Led by President and CEO Naeem Zafar, Bitzer Mobile provides enterprise employees with access to corporate content and applications from within a secure container, which is installed on their mobile phone or tablet of choice such as iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry and Windows Phone 7 devices.

It is being used by enterprises and SMBs in the healthcare, energy, construction and technology markets.
