Albert Medical Devices Raises £210K in Funding
Albert Medical Devices, a Liverpool Science Park, UK-based medical technology company that has developed an intelligent leg bag with an electrical pump, has raised £210K in funding.
The company intends to use the funds to grow its team, complete CE Marking and trialing of the device, as well as manufacturing additional units for trialing with clients and customers.
Led by inventor and electronic manufacturing specialist Trevor Wills (founder, CTO and Chairman), Albert Medical Devices recently launched the Melio Leg Bag, a discreet aid for self-managing urinary incontinence which puts the user in control.
The North West Fund for Biomedical is a sub-fund of the £185m North West Fund, jointly financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the European Investment Bank (EIB).
