Albert Medical Devices, a Liverpool Science Park, UK-based medical technology company that has developed an intelligent leg bag with an electrical pump, has raised £210K in funding.

The round includes a £50k commitment from the £25m North West Fund for Biomedical, managed by venture capital firm SPARK Impact. Other investors were not disclosed.

The North West Fund for Biomedical is a sub-fund of the £185m North West Fund, jointly financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the European Investment Bank (EIB).
