4-Tell Raises Funding

4-Tell, A Portland, Oregon-based start up that operates an e-commerce recommendation software, has raised $25k in funding from the Portland Seed Fund.

In addition, the company has received an undisclosed angel funding sum.

Launched in 2009 by CEO Ken Levy and VP Engineering Neil Lofgren, 4-Tell has developed a solution designed to help companies – with storefronts far smaller than Amazon – increase their e-commerce sales by directing customers to products they might like in addition to what they set out to buy.
The company, which has almost 100 business customers, is using the funds to further develop its software.

4-Tell also has an option to grow the amount received by the Portland Seed Fund.
