vcopious Raises Funding

vcopious, a Philadelphia, PA-based virtual business environments software company, has received a funding of undisclosed amount.

Backers include Emerald Stage 2, Benjamin Franklin Technology Partners, MAG, and Silicon Valley Bank.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow.

Led by CEO Ken Hayward, vcopious provides systems and software services that creates virtual business environments. Its applications are designed to allow businesses to engage with customers, prospects, employees, and partners to increase their productivity and growth. The VC2 virtual business environment application server is available in a Professional Version with 8 simultaneous instances for 5,000 concurrent users, or an Enterprise Solution with 20 simultaneous instances for 30,000 concurrent users.
Each version is equipped with a Virtual Content Management System (VCMS) interface for easy and flexible environment set up, management and real-time user metrics.

The company also added SIEMENS as customers. The corporation has signed a multi-year agreement to purchase the vcopious VC2 Professional virtual business environments appliance with long-term support.
