Qwilt Raises $24M in Two Rounds of Funding

Qwilt Inc., a Redwood Shores, Calif.-based provider of video-infrastructure products for the online-entertainment market, has raised $24m in two rounds of funding.

Backers include Accel Partners, Redpoint Ventures, Crescent Point Group and Rob Glaser, the founder and former CEO of digital-media company RealNetworks Inc.

Co-founded in 2010 by CEO Alon Maor, Gloria Yaron, Yuval Shahar and Dan Sahar, the company provides Internet-service providers with technology that identifies, monitors, stores and delivers Internet video through one platform.
Qwilt is now testing its products with five global carriers and is hiring (read here).
