Pose Raises $3M in Series A Funding

Pose, a Santa Monica, Calif.-based mobile platform for real-time discovery and sharing of fashion, shopping and style, has raised $3m in Series A funding.

Backers include GRP Partners, True Ventures and Mousse Partners.

The company intends to use the funding to continue developing the product and grow the engineering team.

Led by founder and CEO Dustin Rosen, Pose aims to create a social platform where users share and discover style and interact with their favorite brands in a meaningful way. The company has partnered with brands including Aerie by American Eagle, DKNY, Jewelmint.com Levi’s and True Religion. It also features fashion bloggers including Veronica Belmont, Blair and Elle Fowler, Tod Hallman, Geri Hirsch, and Leandra Medine.

The free app is available on iPhone and Android.

Pose is also funded by Founder Collective and angel investors Shawn Fanning and Dave Morin, and some Los Angeles technology community members such as Diego Berdakin, Josh Berman, Paul Bricault, Paige Craig, Bruce Gersh, Doug Hirsch, Scott Marlette, Tom McInerney and Evan Rifkin.
