Dualog AS, a Tromsø, Norway-based company that develops, markets and sells proprietary mobile data communications software for the maritime sector, has received a NOK3m follow-on investment from Norinnova Invest AS.
Norinnova has now invested NOK11.65m and owns a 21.6% stake in the company.
Dualog is primarily focused on the maritime sector and specifically the part that uses satellite-based communications for transmitting e-mail and data files. Its solutions are installed on a large number of ships worldwide including oil tankers, bulk carriers, chemical tankers, container ships, platform supply vessels, anchor handling supply vessels, multi purpose supply vessels, tugs, fishing vessels and even coast guard ships.
The company also has offices in Oslo, Liverpool, Vigo, Malta, Dubai and Singapore, and service partners all along the Norwegian Coast, in Cyprus, Germany, UK, the Netherlands and the United Arab Emirates.
