Craftsvilla.com, an Indian large handcraft product store online in e-commerce retailer, has raised an early stage funding of undisclosed amount.
Backers include Nexus Venture Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to invest in personnel, technology, back-end supply chain and source a larger variety of products across India.
Co founded by CTO.Bhavik Jhaveri, and Tirath Kamdar, Craftsvilla.com features artisan-produced apparel, metalware, jewelry and home furnishings from around the world. Its product offering also includes a large selection of organic apparel, natural handmade soaps, religious products, natural & organic food and more.
The company is wholly owned by Kribha Handicrafts Pvt. Ltd.
