Yesware Raises First Round of Funding

Yesware, a Cambridge, MA-based start up that has just launched a cloud-based email productivity solution for salespeople, has raised its first round of funding.

Investors include Google Ventures, Foundry Group and angel investors including Geoffrey Hyatt, Colby Wood, Mike Baker, David Cohen, Mike Dornbrook and Will Herman.

Founded by CEO Matthew Bellows, Cashman Andrus and Rajat Bhargava, Yesware is an email productivity service that provides individual salespeople and sales teams with email analytics, customizable templates and CRM synchronization to communicate with customers more effectively. It works in conjunction with CRM platforms including Salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle CRM, Highrise, etc.
Yesware for Gmail is free to individual salespeople and available on a per-seat subscription basis for sales teams.
For Android, it is available for a one-time purchase price of $4.99 via the Android Market.
