VideoIQ Raises $7.5M in Series C Funding

VideoIQ, a Bedford, MA-based provider of video surveillance solutions, has raised $7.5m in Series C funding.

Backers include Atlas Venture, Cisco, Matrix Partners and Tenaya Capital.

The company intends to use the funds for product development.

Led by president and CEO Ed Bednarcik, VideoIQ provides IP surveillance cameras and encoders, which include advanced, adaptive analytics, onboard NVR storage and enterprise class video management.
It serves customers across commercial, education, industrial, transportation, telecommunications and government markets.
