A consolidated entity of Perfect World Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ: PWRD), a Chinese online game developer and operator, is to invest along with other partners, in a newly launched venture capital fund.
Perfect World will invest a total of approximately RMB643.5m in the fund as a limited partner over a nine-year period.
The vehicle will primarily focus on investing in companies with high-growth potentials in the technology, media and telecommunications sector.
