MinuteKey Raises $10.6M in Funding

According to a written statement, MinuteKey, a Boulder, CO-based developer of self-service key duplication machines, has raised $10.6m in funding.

The round was led by Serent Capital, with participation from existing investor Matrix Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its presence with retailers nationwide.

Founded in 2008, and led by CEO Randy Fagundo, minuteKEY provides customers with a tool to duplicate keys using a touchscreen, selecting the style and number of keys they need, making payment and inserting the key for duplication, whose process lasts approximately 60 seconds.
