Innerscope Research Closes $9.4M Series A Financing Round

Innerscope Research, Inc., a Boston, MA-based company that uses neuroscience informed biometrics to deliver audience and consumer insights, has closed a $2m tranche in a $9.4m Series A financing round.

Investors remained undisclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to develop a new scalable platform designed to improve geographic representation, and accelerate its expansion in the U.S. and abroad.

Founded in 2006 Innerscope by Harvard and MIT scientists, Innerscope Research focuses on providing Fortune 100 advertisers and media companies with insights by measuring and analyzing unconscious emotional responses to media and marketing stimul. Through its Biometric Monitoring System™, the company leverages the latest advances in biometrics, neuroscience and eye tracking to measure moment-to-moment emotional engagement, the primary driver of behavior and choice.

Led by CEO and Chief Scientist Officer Dr. Carl Marci, Innerscope Research is adding to its R&D and operations staff.
