Fitsistant Completes Seed Funding Round; Seeks new Funds

Fitsistant, a Durham, NC-based personalized physical fitness software and service company, has recently completed its seed funding round.

Investors remained undisclosed.

The company, which is currently seeking to fill six job openings, and will open up a second investment round in October, with the aim of growing operations to meet national demand.

Launched with the support of two Durham-based business incubators Startup Stampede and Pruvop.com, Fitsistantis provides a software assisted services platform comprised of a mobile fitness app and expertise of a training staff. Members can interact with staff and software via mobile phone, web, text and voice.

The company is led by co-founder and CEO Andrew Hooge.
