FireHost, a Dallas, Texas, secure cloud hosting company, has raised $10m in Series B funding.
The round was led by The Stephens Group, LLC, with participation from existing investors.
The company, which previously raised 2m in a Series A round (read here), intends to use the funds to further advance the hosting and security platform, broaden the investment in sales and marketing and expand into the UK.
FireHost is a secure cloud hosting company that specializes in protecting websites and applications with compliance and high traffic needs, such as eCommerce, SaaS, healthcare IT, and security.
Customers include Hewlett Packard, Johns Hopkins University, Farmer’s Insurance, Johnson & Johnson, Duke University and Sotheby’s. The company, which currently operates in over 26 countries, is currently hiring (click here)
