Adaptivity Raises $6.0M Venture Capital Financing

Adaptivity, The IT Blueprint Company, a Charlotte, NC-based provider of an IT blueprinting software suite, has raised an additional $6.0m of venture capital financing.

Investors include Intel Capital, Intersouth Partners and Noro-Moseley Partners, which already invested $10m in October 2010 (read here).

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development and scale sales and marketing infrastructure.

Founded in 2007 and led by Chairman George Mackie, and COO Matt Barrington, Adaptivity provides an IT blueprinting software suite and services to create tailored blueprints and prescriptive roadmaps for enterprise cloud programs that integrate architecture, engineering and system operations into business-optimized IT designs.

The company also added Lee Congdon, Chief Information Officer of Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE:RHT), a provider of open source solutions, to its board of directors, and Robert MacFarlane, former VP and Director, Technology Asset Management of Charlotte based Wells Fargo, as new CTO.
