AccuNostics, a Forres, UK-based medical diagnostics company, has raised £4m in funding and grant.
The round, which was led by Delta Partners with the Scottish Investment Bank,
includes £2.5m of capital and a £1.5m grant package from Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE).
AccuNostics intends to use the funds to grow the business. The company, which has already made a number of appointments, is actively recruiting for a further 15 staff (http://accunostics.co.uk/join-us.html).
Founded in 2008 by CTO and COO Olly Davies and CEO Giles Hamilton, the company designs and manufactures self monitoring devices for diabetes, blood glucose analysis, and other blood analytes.
