Zerto Completes $15M Series B Funding

Zerto, a Herzelia, Israel- and Waltham, MA-based provider of enterprise-class business continuity and disaster recovery solutions for virtualized infrastructure and the cloud, has completed a $15m Series B funding.

The round was led by U.S. Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Battery Ventures and Greylock Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to commercialize its recently launched Zerto Virtual Replication product, a hypervisor-based replication solution for large enterprises, which enables replication to happen within the virtual infrastructure of the data center, as opposed to the physical storage arrays.

In conjunction with the funding, Jacques Benkoski, Ph.D., Venture Partner at USVP, has joined Zerto’s board.

The company was founded in 2010 by CEO Ziv Kedem and Oded Kedem.
