SinglePlatform Raises $3.25M in Venture Capital Funding

SinglePlatform, a Boston, MA-based startup that provides solutions to simplify digital communications for local businesses, raised $3.25m in venture capital funding.

The round was led by DFJ Gotham Ventures, with participation from new investor New World Ventures and existing shareholders First Round Capital and RRE Ventures. This financing, which brings the total amount raised by the company to date to $4.45m, will allow SinglePlatform to launch a set of new products.

Founded in 2010 by CEO Wiley Cerilli, the company has developed a digital portal designed to enable local businesses to manage their web presence, integrating their websites, mobile apps and social networks, as well as syndicate their content (specials, events, menus, photos, etc.) to more than 11,000 mobile applications, 34,000 hotels, 620 universities, data providers, and travel and food specific destination sites.
